Our Goals

Patient Convenience

Convenience is achieved by reducing the length of time patients need to be away families and jobs and by providing greater flexibility in scheduling procedures in an ambulatory rather than a hospital setting.

Physician Convenience

Physician convenience will be achieved by allowing block scheduling of endoscopic cases in a concentrated time and by controlling the flow of patients through the ASC. This second goal will help us to achieve the first.

Reduced Cost to the Patient

Cost reduction will be achieved in several ways.
a. The primary reduction in costs is the elimination of a hospital stay.
b. Lower charges for operating and recovery time.
c. ASC procedure fees which are all inclusive.
d. The staff will be educated on cost control measures and will play an active role in cost containment.

Efficient Operation of Facility

The Facility will operate efficiently providing patients that meets accepted standards and will seek to consistently deliver services of high quality. Equipment will be maintained to standards and the facility will provide adequate, well trained nursing and support staffs.

Friendly Atmosphere

The patient will not compete for attention but will be the center of attention while in our facility. Our goal is to greet a stranger but discharge a friend. The staff will educate the patients and their families based on the patients educational level. The patient will be provided with support and reassurance throughout the ASC stay.

Preventative Education

The community will be educated in preventative measures to reduce the risk of serious illness such as colon cancer by providing awareness programs for various clubs and by education of patients and their families prior to discharge.

Participatory Management

The Center Director, Office Manager and Charge Nurses will be knowledgeable in materials management, budgetary commitments and marketing.
